Georgia and Russia have started the technical consultations on aviation issues as of Jan. 26.
The frequency of Russian airlines' regular flights to Georgia is being discussed at the meetings in Tbilisi, the Georgian Economy Ministry told Trend.
The representatives of Switzerland as a mediator country in the Georgian-Russian relations also attend the meetings.
As part of the negotiations, the Georgian side will try to take into account the interests of Georgian airlines, as well as the interests of passengers. The flight arrangement on a parity basis taking into account everybody's interests will be the main requirement of the Georgian side, the Georgian Economy Ministry said.
