The Georgian military road connecting Russia with the Caucasian countries was once again closed due to snowfall and a threat of snow avalanches in Georgia, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of North Ossetia told RIA Novosti.
"The road has been closed from 8:00 Moscow time (UTC/GMT +4 hours)," the ministry said.
Last time the road was closed on February 17 at the Upper Lars checkpoint, located on the North Ossetian section of the Russian-Georgian border.
