The Day of Georgian Wine is being celebrated in Georgia, today, Oct. 4.
Georgia Online has reported citing the National Wine Agency that the Day of Georgian Wine was established at an initiative by the country's Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
This day was first celebrated last year.
This year's celebrations will start with the opening of a center of Georgian wine at the National Wine Agency.
The center accommodates a museum that will showcase agricultural tools related to viticulture and winemaking, as well as vessels for storing grapes.
Georgian capital of Tbilisi will also host a wine parade.
Apart from that, all the guests arriving at the Georgian airports on the Day of Georgian Wine will be given souvenirs and offered to taste wine.
