The Georgian parliament made amendments to the law "On the State Budget of Georgia for 2015" Nov.27 at a plenary session, the Sputnik news agency reported.

The amendments provide for an increase in the plan on tax revenues amounting to 120 million lari ($50 million).

Amendments to the redistribution of budget funds were made possible on the basis of the economic and fiscal parameters of the first 9-10 months of 2015, according to the Georgian parliament.

Tax income forecast has increased by 120 million lari to constitute 7,520 million lari (over $3.1 billion). Privatization incomes also increased by 40.5 million lari (nearly $19 million). State debt index reduced by 293 million lari ($122.1 million), including 185 million lari ($77.1 million) reduction to treasury liability incomes and 108 million lari ($45 million) to foreign credits.

The amount of budget revenues has been reduced (by reducing the debt) to 155 million lari ($ 65 million) and is 9.745 million lari ($4.1 billion).

Appropriations have grown by 30 million lari ($12.5 million) and amounted to 9.605 million lari ($4 billion), which is mainly caused by the need to attract additional resources for the smooth implementation of the program of universal health care.

Previously, the total revenue of the state budget for 2015 was planned at the level of 9.57 billion lari (about $4 billion), 8.780 billion lari (about $3.7 billion) of which account for budget funds and 790 million lari ($329 million) - donor funding. The total volume of appropriations of the state budget for 2015 was planned at the level of 9.52 billion lari (about $4 billion).
