Georgia's visa-free travel regime with Iran, suspended by the Georgian side on July 1, 2013, will be fully restored on Feb. 15.
Resumption of the visa-free travel was announced during a meeting of the Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania with Iran's Ambassador in Tbilisi Abbas Talebifar, the Sputnik Georgia news agency reported Feb. 9.
With the visa-free regime in effect, Iranian citizens will be able to stay in Georgia without applying for a visa for 45 days from the date of their arrival in the country.
