Israeli settlers shot dead a Palestinian teenager in a West Bank village, Palestinians charged Friday.
Palestinian police said residents of al-Mazra al-Sharqiya, north of Ramallah, found the body of 15-year-old Aysar Zein after midnight in the olive groves not far from the village, DPA reported.
The boy was hit from the back by three bullets as he ran away when he saw armed settlers in the area, according to the residents who accused Israeli settlers of having opened fire on the boy while he was in the fields without any apparent reason.
This teenager is the first Palestinian allegedly killed by Israelis in the West Bank since the start of indirect Palestinian- Israeli talks last weeks.
