Foreign ministers from the Friends of Syria grouping are to meet in London next week to discuss preparations for a proposed Geneva conference, Foreign Secretary William Hague said Friday, dpa reported.
The 11-country group, which last met in Rome in September, includes the United States, France, Germany, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
The ministers will also discuss "our efforts to achieve a political settlement to this tragic conflict" at the Tuesday meeting, said Hague.
Representatives from the opposition Syrian National Coalition are also to attend the gathering.
