Jordan announced a 40-day period of mourning for Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al Saud, Jordanian news agency Petra reported Jan. 23.
In this regard, King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan interrupted his participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos and flew to Saudi Arabia.
The doctors revealed pneumonia while examining the King of Saudi Arabia in December 2014. The monarch was taken to a hospital in Riyadh. The medical examination revealed pneumonia that required immediate treatment. Moreover, the King of Saudi Arabia had several spine surgeries for the past four years.
Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has become the seventh King of Saudi Arabia.
