A group consisting of 41 people planned bombings at malls and hotels of the United Arab Emirates, RIA Novosti reported citing The National newspaper.
The hearing on this issue was held in the UAE Federal Supreme Court Nov.16. The next hearing is scheduled for Dec.8.
Forty one men are on trial in the Federal Supreme Court charged with belonging to an illegal organization called Shabab Al Manara that aimed to create a caliphate in the UAE.
Reportedly, the group started to plan bomb attacks on malls, hotels and other public areas in the United Arab Emirates in 2011.
The country's Prosecutor General's Office said the group had planned to both financially support and supply members to Jabhat Al Nusra, the Al Qaeda-linked terrorist group in Syria.
