Israeli forces on Tuesday prevented international solidarity activists from completing a bike rally in Hebron's old city Maan reported.
Israeli soldiers at a checkpoint near the Ibrahimi mosque forced cyclists to dismount their bikes and continue on foot.
The rally was organized by the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee to show international activists the daily suffering of Palestinian residents as a result of Israeli restrictions and settlers.
"Young people in most European countries hear about Israeli violations of the Palestinian people's rights, but they don't see these violations firsthand. Thus, it was important for sympathizers with the Palestinian people to see how serious these violations are," activist Sareh Sarraf told Ma'an.
