The OSCE, together with the Swiss OSCE Chairmanship, will host the 14th Alliance against Trafficking in Persons conference on ethical issues in preventing and combating human trafficking November 4-5 in Vienna, the website of OSCE said.

Participants will explore what measures OSCE participating states, the private sector, international organizations, civil society and other actors can take to enforce and ensure that they do not contribute to exploitative situations where goods and services are produced through trafficking in human beings.

A number of key officials will speak at the event: Thomas Greminger, Chairperson of the OSCE Permanent Council; Lamberto Zannier, OSCE Secretary General; Vladimir Garkun, Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee; William Lacy Swing, Director General of the International Organization for Migration; Madina Jarbussynova, OSCE Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings; Prince Zeid Ben Ra'ad Al Hussein, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (video address) and others.
