The US dollar and the euro increased their growth on the Moscow Exchange, the US dollar rose above 63 rubles amid the falling price of Brent oil below $52 per barrel, the Interfax agency said.

The US dollar was worth 63.11 RUB/$1 during a single trading session at 12:31 Moscow time, adding 2.25 rubles to the level of the previous closing.

The euro exchange rate rose to 74.9 RUB/EUR1, adding 2.2 rubles.

The US dollar and the euro have been growing the second consecutive trading day.

Throughout this period, that is, from early 2015, the US dollar has added 7.1 rubles, or 12.7 percent, and the euro rose by 6.25 rubles, or 9.1 percent.

The fall in world oil prices strengthened in the morning of Tuesday, while the February Brent crude futures fell in London-based exchange ICE Futures, below $52 per barrel, renewing multi-year lows.
