A doctor was injured and another person was found dead after a shooting at a healthcare center in the US city of El Paso, Texas, RIA Novosti reported referring to the local KFOX14 channel.
The body of a person believed to be the shooter was found at El Paso VA Health Care System, according to a spokesperson for US Representative Beto O'Rourke cited by the TV channel. The condition of the doctor is yet unknown and an investigation is underway, though it is believed that the shooter committed suicide.
The shooting, which took place at around 4 p.m. local time (11 p.m. GMT), was initially reported to have taken place at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center, though was later confirmed to have happened at neighbouring El Paso VA Health Care System.
