An explosion occurred near the Vydubychi metro station in Kiev, Ukraine, RIA Novosti reported March 11 citing the TSN news agency.
An unidentified person, according to the law enforcement agencies, arranged explosion using a flare, which is not ammunition, but a firework.
Initially, eyewitnesses said a grenade was thrown into a kiosk near the metro station.
No one was injured in the incident. Ukraine's interior ministry didn't say whether it managed to establish the identity of the suspect.
