The death toll in the collapse of the Russian Airborne Troops training center barracks in the Omsk region has reached 20 people, Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Major General Igor Konashenkov said.
"As of 09:45 am (Omsk time, UTC/GMT + 6 hours), 39 servicemen have been removed from the rubble, 20 of them were dead, while 19 servicemen were rushed to hospitals," he said, RIA Novosti reported.
The rescuers continue searching for three servicemen, according to the spokesperson.
