The Central Election Commission of Belarus approved the final results of the presidential election Oct. 16, Belta reported.

Some 201,945 people (3.3 percent) voted for Sergei Haidukevich, 271,426 people (4.44 percent) - Tatiana Korotkevich, 5,102,478 people (83.47 percent) - Alexander Lukashenko, 102,131 people (1.67 percent) - Nikolai Ulakhovich.

Some 386,200 people voted against all candidates. Some 48,800 ballots were considered as invalid.

The voter lists included more than 7 million people. Some 6.1 million people (87.22 percent) participated in the voting. More than 2.5 million people participated in early election. More than 3.1 million voters came to the constituencies on election day.
