Trend:

It is too early to say about the prospects of implementing Russia-Turkey joint projects, in particular, the construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant, Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman for the Russian president, said, RIA Novosti reported.

The Turkish Air Force shot down the Russian military planes SU-24 in its airspace Nov. 24.

Both pilots managed to eject and the plane crashed on the territory of Syria.

"I can say nothing regarding these prospects," he said. "Of course, everything will be thoroughly analyzed given the current situation."

The intergovernmental agreement between Russia and Turkey on cooperation in the fields of construction and operation of the country's first nuclear power plant Akkuyu near the city of Mersin in southern Turkey was signed in 2010.
