Chinese Cathay Pacific company’s Boeing 777 airliner, which was carrying 248 passengers, made an emergency landing at the airport in the Chinese city of Chongqing due to a problem with oil supply.

Chinese Cathay Pacific company's Boeing 777 airliner, which was carrying 248 passengers, made an emergency landing at the airport in the Chinese city of Chongqing due to a problem with oil supply, RIA Novosti agency reported Apr. 23 citing China Morning Post.

The CX255 flight was flying to London, when it was revealed that the oil pressure in one of the aircraft's engines has dropped to the maximum lowest level. The captain made the decision to land the aircraft.

None of the passengers and crew members was injured, according to the report.
