Italy's Prime Minister-designate Paolo Gentiloni submitted a list of ministers to form the country's new government to President Sergio Mattarella, Secretary General of the Presidential Office Hugo Zampetti said on Monday, Sputnik reported.
Gentiloni and Mattarella met at the Quirinal Palace at 7:30 p.m. local time [18:30 GMT]. The meeting lasted for about an hour.
The swearing-in ceremony for the new ministers will be held later in the day, at 19:00 GMT.
