The crash happened at approximately 10:30 a.m. local time, near 15 Wing Moose Jaw.

The two pilots aboard the CT-156 Harvard II trainer aircraft were able to successfully eject, however it is unknown if they suffered injuries. There were no fatalities.

First responders at the crash site found both pilots with non-life-threatening injuries.

A Canadian Forces Base Moose Jaw spokesperson said the two pilots are an instructor and a student with the Royal Canadian Air Force.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
