Turkish security forces detained a total of 128 people, believed to have connections to the terrorist organization DHKP-C, in operations conducted in the provinces of Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Aydin, Antalya and Bursa on Friday, Anadolu Agency reported.
DHKP-C is a left-wing terrorist group that was behind a recent suicide bomb attack on the US Embassy in the Turkish capital of Ankara.
