Turkeyˈs Development Minister Cevdet Yilmaz, heading a delegation, consisting of public and private sectors representives, departed Ankara for Tehran on Monday evening to attend the 24th joint economic cooperation commission, IRNA reported.

Turkeyˈs Development Minister Cevdet Yilmaz, heading a delegation, consisting of public and private sectors representives, departed Ankara for Tehran on Monday evening to attend the 24th joint economic cooperation commission, IRNA reported.

Joint Working Council of Iran and Turkey affiliated to Union of Turkey Chambers and Stock Exchange has organized the 3-day visit.

The joint economic cooperation commission will be chaired by Cevdet Yilmaz from Turkey and Iranˈs Ministers of Communication Mahmoud Vaezi.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement is to be signed by Yilmaz and Vaezi, which will show roadmap for economic and trade cooperation between the two neighboring countries in the new era.

The two ministers are due to hold a joint press conference at the end of the meeting.

Yilmaz is to meet with President Hassan Rouhani, First Vice-President Es-haq Jahangiri, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Minister of Industry, Trade and Mine Mohammad Reza Neˈmatzadeh on Wednesday.
