The European Court of Human Rights ordered Turkey to pay 90 million euros, the Turkish newspaper Sabah reported on May 12.

This decision was made upon Cyprus's suit against Turkey in connection with the events in Cyprus in 1974, according to the report.

Some 30 million euro of this amount will be spent on compensation for moral damage to the families of missing persons, while 60 million euros will be transferred to the Greeks living in the Karpas peninsula, according to the court decision.
