The causes of the elevator accident in the Sisli district of Turkey's Istanbul city will be thoroughly investigated, Anadolu agency quoted Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu as saying on Sept.7.
He stressed that all measures will be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
The elevator accident occurred during the construction of a skyscraper in the Sisli district on Sept.7, which claimed the lives of 10 people.
The preliminary data says that eight people have been detained over the incident.
