Turkey's Foreign Ministry doesn't recognize the results of the parliamentary and local elections held in Crimea on Sept.14, Turkish Anadolu agency reported on Sept.17.

At the same time, Turkey's Foreign Ministry doesn't recognize Crimea's illegal annexation by Russia.

Earlier, the U.S. and Georgia also refused to recognize the results of the elections in Crimea.

Crimea held parliamentary election for the first time on Sept.14 since its annexation by Russia.

The United Russia candidates have won over 71 percent of the vote in the Crimean constituencies, according to the preliminary results.

The vast majority of residents of Crimea - 96 percent - voted to secede from Ukraine and join Russia, in a referendum held March 16.

Russia and Crimea signed an agreement on March 18 on Crimea as well as Sevastopol city joining the Russian Federation.
