By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend:

Turkish army has been put on full combat alert as the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) has intensified its activities in the country, Milliyet newspaper quoted Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc as saying on Oct.28.

Earlier on Oct.28, PKK terrorists seized a truck carrying 400 kilograms of explosives for a coal mine.

Arinc said it is planned to destroy the truck by military helicopters after determining its location.

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Oct.28 that PKK, the Syrian regime and 'Islamic State' (IS) are the enemies of Turkey.

The conflict between Turkey and the PKK, which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state, continued for over 25 years and has claimed more than 40,000 lives.
