The woman who performed a terrorist act in Istanbul is Elif Sultan Kalsin, Ozgurkocaeli reported.
As it has been revealed, Kalsin, the student of International relations department of The University of Kojaeli, is from Tunjeli and used to live in Kojaeli.
Elif Sultan Kalsin was added to the list of 9 "living bombs" published by The primary law enforcement governance of Turkey in 2012.
Right after the publishing of the list Kalsin came out and said that she was not a "living bomb".
It was she who performed a terrorist act which became a reason of 1 policeman's death.
Earlier it was reported that a female suicide bomber carried out attack on Istanbul tourism police in Turkey, leaving one officer being dead and one more injured.
The police station is located in Istanbul's historic Sultanahmet district. The suicide bomber powered the bomb near the entrance. The female bomber lost her life.
