By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend:

Armenian ASALA terrorist organization threatens the countries intending to take part in the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Canakkale Victory, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.

Earlier or sooner, Turkey will find out which forces stand behind this terrorist organization, Erdogan said in the interview with Turkish Milliyet newspaper.

He added that Turkey will call the international community for peace and stability on Apr.24.

It should be noted that heads of around 50 countries will attend the festivities dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the victory in Canakkale battle on Apr.24.

Earlier, Erdogan invited Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan to take part on April 24 in the festivities in honor of the 100th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Canakkale. Turkish president said that this could lead to the start of the dialogue between the two sides. However, Armenian authorities refused to participate.

Armenia and the Armenian lobby claim that Turkey's predecessor, the Ottoman Empire allegedly carried out "genocide" against the Armenians living in Anatolia in 1915. Turkey in turn has always denied "the genocide" took place.

While strengthening the efforts to promote the "genocide" in the world, Armenians have achieved its recognition by the parliaments of some countries.
