Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu is ready to resign if the ruling Justice and Development Party loses at the parliamentary election to be held in June, Davutoglu himself said in an interview to Turkish NTV channel Apr.9.

He said that the post does not really matter for him, but he is confident that namely the ruling party will win at the election.

Some 53.765,231 million electors will vote in the parliamentary election to be held June 7, 2015 in Turkey.

The number of voters outside of Turkey will amount to 2.9 million people, said the commission. Some 112 polling stations will be established in 54 countries.

Representatives of 31 political parties will take part in the parliamentary election.

More than 70 current MPs from the ruling Justice and Development Party of Turkey will not be able to take part in parliamentary election in 2015.

This decision was made in accordance with the internal regulations, according to which MPs have no right to be elected to Parliament for more than three terms.

Such well-known representatives of the Justice and Development Party, as deputy prime ministers Bulent Arinc, Besir Atalay and Ali Babacan, Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdag, deputy chairman of the party Huseyin Celik, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will not be able to take part in the parliamentary election of 2015 in Turkey.

During the parliamentary election, which took place in Turkey in 2011, the ruling Justice and Development Party gained 46.66 percent of the vote. Some 20.85 percent of the vote went to the Republican People's Party (CHP), and 14.29 percent of the vote was collected by the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP).
