European Parliament is using historical events of 1915 in political objectives, the Minister for EU Affairs Volkan Bozkir said on Apr.16, according to Anadolu Agency.
"The resolution adopted by European parliament, which is calling to renew diplomatic relations and open the border is one-sided evaluation of the current situation," - he said.
Bozkir also added that this resolution makes no sense for Turkey and Turkey doesn't accept it.
"Turkey repeatedly held out a hand of friendship to Armenia. Even Turkish-Armenian protocols were signed in 2009, bur Armenian side strongly repelled friendly intentions of Turkey," - he added.
