An explosion occurred at a military base in the Turkish southern province of Sanliurfa, the Hurriyet Turkish newspaper said May 7.

The cause of the accident was the explosion of anti-tank mine, the newspaper said. Rescuers and firefighters arrived at the scene.

No one was hurt as a result of the accident.
