Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has started talks with Selahattin Demirtas, leader of the pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), TRT Haber news channel reported July 15.

The meeting will focus on discussing the process of democratic settlement of Kurdish problem which started in 2009.

Earlier, Turkey's prime minister held a meeting with Devlet Bahceli, leader of the Nationalist Movement Party and Kemal Kilicdaroglu, head of the Republican People's Party.

Following the meeting, Davutoglu said that the Nationalist Movement Party refused from creating a coalition government.

Turkey held parliamentary election June 7, which involved 20 political parties. Over 53 million people cast ballots in this election.

A coalition government should be formed in Turkey, within 45 days after announcing the results of the parliamentary election.

As a result of this election, the ruling Justice and Development Party garnered 40.9 percent of the votes, the Republican People's Party (CHP) - 25 percent, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) - 16.3 percent, the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) - 13.1 percent.
