Turkey and the US, both of which are members of NATO, will agree to the use of Incirlik air base against ISIS forces, US expert on Russia and Eurasia, former analyst for CIS and State Department Paul Goble told Trend on July 24.
Goble further said that the opponents of the Islamic State obviously should use military force, however the battle with ISIS will not be won by military force alone.
"It is an ideological battle, and it will be won - or lost - on the battlefield of ideas," he said.
Earlier a number of Turkish media outlets reported that the country allegedly will use the Incirlik air base against ISIS forces.
Meanwhile, Turkish President Erdogan said that the country will do everything to prevent the activity of terrorist organizations. He specifically said that Turkish Air Forces will continue military operations against the ISIS.
