The soldier of the Turkish army, who went missing Sept. 3 on Turkey's border with Syria, is held captive by the terrorist organization the "Islamic State" (IS), Hurriyet newspaper reported Sept. 5.
Reportedly, the IS militants are currently holding the soldier near the Syrian city of Aleppo.
Turkish side isn't so far holding talks to free the soldier, said the newspaper citing Turkish intelligence.
On July 25, Turkish air forces launched a major operation in Syria's north against the IS militants.
