Turkey is dissatisfied with Russia's military action in Syria, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in an interview with the Arab Al-Jazeera TV channel.

Russia doesn't oppose the ISIS terrorists, and it bombs positions of the moderate opposition, according to Erdogan.

One of the problems in Syria is refugees who are in Turkey, he said.

Russia doesn't attach importance to the issue of Syrian refugees in Turkey, the number of which is increasing, according to him.

At present, over 2 million Syrian refugees are in Turkey.

The Syrian refugee camps in Turkey accommodate about 300,000 people. The rest of them are spread throughout the provinces and cities of Turkey. In Istanbul alone, there are currently 40,000 refugees from Syria.

Ankara has so far spent at least $5.5 billion to support the Syrian refugees, according to Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).

Erdogan also said that he was going to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the military action in Syria.

Erdogan went on to add that the ISIS is a terrorist organization and the purpose of this organization is to destroy Islamic values.

Syria has been suffering an armed conflict on its soil since March 2011, which, according to the UN, has so far killed over 220,000 people.

Syrian government troops are being confronted by militants from various armed groups. The militants of the extremist groups known as "Islamic State" and Jabhat al-Nusra are the most active ones.
