The G20 Summit, which discussed global terrorism among key topics of its agenda, is less likely to be helpful in stepping up such a fight. And there are several reasons for that.

One of those reasons lies in that the countries, actively fighting terrorism, have disagreements when it comes to define what a terrorist organization is. An organization, listed as terrorist by one state, is unfortunately not considered as such by another one.

Therefore, it can be argued that double standards are applied to this vital issue, which in turn weakens the fight against terrorists.

Aside from that, some countries just turn a blind eye on the terrorist activity of some groups, as long as those groups are operating at a significant distance from their soil.

By the way, there are numerous cases when the countries, which formerly patronized global terror, themselves gradually fell victims to terror attacks.

Most regrettably, a number of Muslim Arab countries are today considered a hotbed of global terrorism.

Such countries are Syria, Iraq, Libya and Lebanon, were the first victims of the Western "democracy", which brought along certain developments in those countries.

These mentioned countries are a hotbed of terrorism, but not only of Islamic terrorism. There are hundreds of facts proving that Western instructors trained terrorists in Syria, Iraq and Libya.

For the West, the chaos in these countries was nothing but a way to get rid of domestic radicals.

But aside from the Islamic radicalism and terrorism, there is also Armenian terrorism and radicalism patronized by some countries.

Apparently, the advocates of the world democracy have "forgotten" about the Armenian radicalism and terrorism directed against the peaceful Azerbaijani people for many years. As a result of Armenian aggression, 20 percent of Azerbaijani territories were occupied and ethnic cleansing was committed against the Azerbaijani people.

Azerbaijan faced humanitarian disaster and nearly a million citizens of the country became refugees as a result of the occupation.

Over 20 years ago, the UN Security Council adopted four resolutions demanding the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from Azerbaijan's occupied territories. However, Armenia hasn't fulfilled these demands so far.

If the international community intends to decisively fight the global terrorism, it shouldn't turn a blind eye on Armenian terrorism.
