A mine-strewn car has exploded near a police station in Turkey's Adana province, Hurriyet newspaper reported Nov.24.

The building of the police station has been seriously damaged as a result of the explosion. However, no casualties have been reported.

Currently, the police have started an operation to detain the organizers of the explosion.

A major terrorist attack was averted in Turkey's capital Ankara Nov.20. The police revealed 100 kilograms of explosives near a highway in Ankara as a result of the special operation.

Members of Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) are suspected of planning this terrorist attack, according to the preliminary data.

Moreover, Turkey was hit with two explosions, the death toll of which reached 97 people, 246 more got injured on Oct.10. At the time, Turkey's National Intelligence Organization said the "Islamic State" stood behind the attack.
