Democracy and people have won in Turkey, said the country’s Economy Ministry Nihat Zeybekci, TRT Haber news channel reported July 16.
He said all political parties of the country also demonstrated devotion to the state.
Zeybekci’s remarks come with regard to the recent coup attempt in Turkey.
A coup attempt was launched in Turkey late on July 15 by a group of Turkish military servicemen.
There were reports saying that Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport was seized. Reports also indicated that 46 military men headed the attempt.
Later, Turkish officials announced that the attempt was foiled.
