Turkey has sent a second note to Germany demanding extradition of fugitive prosecutors Zekeriya Oz and Jalal Kara, the Anadolu Agency reports.

The prosecutors had close ties with movement of Fethullah Gulen, who is accused of involvement in a military coup in Turkey.

Earlier, the Turkish media reported that Oz and Kara could be in one of the villas in the German city of Freiburg near the border with Switzerland and France.

The first note demanding extradition of Oz and Kara was sent to Germany in 2015.

Zekeriya Oz and Celal Kara investigated the 2013 corruption scandal in Turkey. Dozens of people were detained, including businessmen and sons of some ministers as a result of a special operation carried out in Istanbul and Ankara on December 17, 2013.

They were detained on charges of corruption, smuggling and selling drugs.
