Spain's Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos, who is the chairman of the EU, will visit Azerbaijan March 2-3 in the framework of a regional visit, Foreign Ministry spokesman Elkhan Polukhov told Trend .
"The EU is interested in peace and stability in the South Caucasus. The structure actively monitors the process of normalizing Turkey-Armenia relations, resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and situation in Abkhazia and South Ossetia," the Spanish Foreign Ministry' said.
During his visit, the minister is expected to meet with Azerbaijani officials.
