Emin to perform at Eurovision 2012

Emin has been invited to perform exclusively during the half time show of Eurovision 2012, the singer's website emin-music.com. reported.
Emin is thrilled to be performing in front of his home crowd and to a worldwide TV Audience of over 300 million, the message said.
Emin is a star in both his home country and Russia, and a rising star in Britain where his second album will be released in May.
"It is probably the single biggest opportunity to be able to perform as a guest during the Eurovision in the country which is your home country," he underlined. "Every time you perform for a big crowd it is very exciting, if you perform in your home country it is twice as exciting and if there are also hundreds of millions of people watching then it is just unbelievable."
Emin sees this as an important event for Azerbaijan.
"I think it's an incredible showcase for Azerbaijan," he added.
The 57th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Baku Crystal Hall which has been under construction near the area of the State Flag. The Hall is an arena with an audience capacity of up to 23,000.
Approximately 16,000 people will be able to attend each of the three Eurovision Song Contest live shows in May.
The Eurovision 2012 semi-final rounds will be held in Baku on May 22 and May 24 and the final on May 26.
