Estonia is interested in the development of economic relations with Azerbaijan and is ready to offer a range of projects, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Estonia, Tofig Zulfugarov, who is attending the fourth summit of heads of diplomatic missions in Azerbaijan, told Trend on Friday.
"IT technology is well developed in Estonia and therefore the Azerbaijani government is paying great attention to the development of this sphere of cooperation between the two countries in this region which is expected in the long term," he said.
Zulfugarov stressed the political relations between the two countries are at a good level.
"Estonia supports Azerbaijan's position in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and political relations can be backed by economic components," he said.
According to Zulfugarov, here the emphasis is made in the technological sphere. "We also consider the possibility of investing in different spheres of the Estonian economy and it intend to present new projects for cooperation in this field," he added.
