In January-October, volume of e-commerce market in Azerbaijan amounted to 1.133 million manat, Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said on Friday.
E-commerce participants are legal and physical entities, who are dealing with e-commerce and are buyers of goods and services.
Total retail trade in Azerbaijan over the past period increased by 9.4 percent and amounted to 14 billion manat. Paid services increased by 7.7 percent and amounted to 4.6 billion manat.
Some 55.8 percent of the total volume of goods sold accounted for food products and 44.2 percent - for non-food products, sales growth hit 1.9 and 20.5 percent respectively.
The official exchange rate is 0.7848 manat to $1 on Nov.16.
