Experts from the Radio Monitoring department of SARF analyzed the quality of the broadcast of television and radio programs.

Test works on the measurement of electromagnetic signals were held in Sumgayit city, the residential areas of Bilga, Mashtaga, Bina, Mardakan, Zagulba, Zych, Shuvalan, Alat, Gobustan, Primorsk, Piralllahi, and Tagiyev and in Gilezi in Khizi.

Analysis of the electromagnetic field of the broadcasted FM-bandwidths was undertaken in the mentioned residential areas.
The Radio Monitoring department of SAFR conducted 1728 measurements in 144 locations.

At the regional level, measurement works on identifying the quality of broadcast of TV and FM-channels were held in 53 regions of the country.

During the past test period, the communication range of DVB-T digital TV transmitters were identified as well.

Monitoring of electromagentic intensity levels of radio and television programs broadcasted from neighboring countries in 37 regions of Azerbaijan was undertaken by the Administration along with measurement of the coverage of digital DVB-T TV across the country.

As stated by the SAFR, there are currently 40 DVB-T stations broadcasting in the country, which allows for 87% digital TV coverage of the population.
