Representatives of the Israeli media today visited Trend news agency and familiarised themselves with the work of journalists.
The guests asked several questions about the work of the agency, became acquainted with the processes of writing material, the work with newsmakers and other aspects of journalists' work.
Such journalists as Lilac Weissman, Yael Apter, Noam Sigman, Meir Berger, Emil Salman, Ornit Foran, Yosef Zilberman, Oranit Or, Yehezkel Baruch and Tal Nahum attended the event.
During the meeting, the guests asked questions about the media in Azerbaijan and the development of journalism in the country. The aspects of Azerbaijani-Israeli relations and its coverage in the local media are of particular interest.
Representative of the Azerbaijan-Israel Friendship and Cultural Relations Society (AzIz) Lev Spivak said that the group of journalists which arrived in Baku was impressed by beauty of the city and hospitality of the residents of the capital.
"This is the Israeli journalists' first official visit to Azerbaijan," Spivak said. "They will also visit the regions of the country."
