Azerbaijan's Ministry of Education prepared a new 'State Program on Informatization of the Education System for 2013-2020' and submitted it to the Cabinet of Ministers, the Department of Informatization of the Education System of the Ministry of Education told Trend.
Works under the previous government program designed for 2008-2012 have been completed. During this period, educational institutions were provided with more than 38.4 thousand personal computers.
According to the latest data of the Department, currently in Azerbaijan there is one computer for every 16 students. In the coming years, this figure can constitute one for five.
