Azerbaijan, Baku, October 23/Trend, H.Valiyev/

The Information Computer Centre of the Azerbaijani Communications and Information Technologies Ministry transfers the network infrastructures and billing systems of state communications operators to the new version of TELNET remote access, the Information Computer Centre told Trend on Wednesday.

According to the Information Computer Centre, the work is expected to be completed in next two months. The system is used in production associations such as "Aztelekom" and Baku Telephone Communications."

The new version of TELNET supports the SH (Secure SHell) protocol. Network protocol SSH enables remote control over the operating system, as well as to encrypt the whole information exchange, including transmitted passwords.

The protocol ensures a secure information exchange in an unsecured environment through any other network protocol. Users will be able not only to work remotely on a computer through a command shell, but also to transmit audio and video information through an encrypted channel.

At present, this solution is used to ensure the stable work of the central servers of the Information Computer Centre against various virus attacks.
