By Huseyn Valiyev - Trend:

Azerbaijani Communications and Information Technologies Ministry is developing rules for selection of participants for the High-Tech Park's Business Incubation Centre, the park's Deputy Director General, Jabbar Musayev told Trend.

He said the rules will include development of criteria for selection of participants of the Business Incubation Centre.

Musayev said the development of the rules will be completed soon.

The Business Incubation Centre with a total area of about 2000 square meters is located on the third floor of the 'AF Business House' in Baku. The Business Incubation Centre includes both the centre itself and the High-Tech Park's central office.

Receipt of the ICT projects will start shortly. The centre's activity will be based on two principles. The first principle is the so-called "Open office", allowing everyone to separately work on a specific project and the second is the "shared office", which can contain up to five companies. Each company can work on a project in teams.

The Business Incubation Centre participants will be provided with computer equipment and internet access. If necessary, the centre will be ready to provide the necessary support for project proponents.

Only promising projects can claim to be developed at the incubation centre. Once the project reaches the desired stage of development, it will be transferred to the High-Tech Park.

The High-Tech Park will be constructed in Pirallahi district of Azerbaijani capital Baku. A land area of 50 hectares has been allocated for its construction. Currently, works are underway on the construction of the park and the necessary infrastructure and for studying international experience and settlement of other issues.
