Georgia's Interior Minister Alexander Chikaidze left for an official visit to Azerbaijan today, on May 13.
During the visit, the minister will meet with the Azerbaijani leadership, including, the country's interior minister, the minister of emergency situations and the head of the State Border Service, the Georgian Interior Ministry told Trend.
The issues related to cooperation between the two countries' interior ministries will be discussed during the meetings.
The meetings with Chikaidze will also touch upon the reforms carried out by Georgia in the country's Interior Ministry.
The visit of Georgian interior minister to Azerbaijan will end on May 16.
