American company Hill International will provide technical control over the process of the designing of "High-Tech Park" in Azerbaijan, a source in the telecommunications market of Azerbaijan told Trend.
Following the development of the document on the technical control of the planning process, tender will be announced for the attraction of the contractor for architectural and construction work, the source said.
Hill International Company is one of the best companies in the world in construction management, which managed to implement successfully the most complex construction projects.
The construction of "High-Tech Park" (Technopark) is to be in the Pirallahi district of Baku. Some 50 hectares of land there has been allocated for construction of the park.
The laying of the Technopark`s foundation is expected by the end of year. About two years are going to be required for the Technopark complex construction, according to the estimates.
The proposals for the construction project of the "High-Tech Park" in Azerbaijan will be available in the next few months.
The international consulting company "Commit" is engaged in the concept development activities of the "High-Tech Park". At present, the company is preparing a general business plan of Technopark. Studies are underway to build the infrastructure necessary for the effective functioning of the Technopark.
Administrative and residential buildings will be built in Technopark. An incubation center, mini-factories for the production of high-tech products, etc. will be created at the park.
High-Tech Park LLC passed the state registration. Azerbaijani State Committee for Property Issues approved the charter of the park and meetings were held with potential foreign investors and companies.
With the beginning of the park's activities the ICT spheres will expand and the creation of modern research facilities and development of new information technologies will be provided. The park will play an important role in the sustainable development of the economy and competitiveness.
